Units of Velocity

Units of velocity is very important parameter used to recognize the moving objects. It is the travel length at a unit time is call the velocity. Depending on the scale, nature and as per other parameters, units of velocity are defined.

Some of the common types of units of velocity are as follows.

Meters per second (m/s):

The SI unit for velocity, representing the distance traveled in meters in one second.

Kilometers per hour (km/h):

Miles per hour (mph):
